One of the Lowest Interest Rates for Cannabis We've Seen... 

EN Capital has been active in the cannabis space for awhile now. With our list of 50+ cannabis friendly lenders, we know exactly what the market's appetite is, so when we say this one is rare...it's rare.While state-by-state governmental feelings have changed in regards to cannabis legality (hello tax dollars) it still remains federally illegal which means banks won't touch it.On the flip side, private lenders are seizing the day and saying to hell with the risk and getting in on this new green gold rush. However, they're not doing it out of the goodness of their heart, they're getting paid and that means high-interest rates for borrowers.The average interest rates that we see is still 10% to the mid-teens. That's pretty expensive but justified when the lender is taking asset forfeiture risk by being in the space. However, the capital source we want to introduce you to today is offering loans at 7.90%! There are very specific criteria that must be met in order to qualify but this is an exciting opportunity and is the first signs of lower cost competition in the cannabis lending space. Their criteria are the following: 

• Deal Size:

  • $1M - $60M

• Leverage:

  • 50-60% of the non-cannabis value

• Location:

  • California only

    • Must be an infill location. They will not consider rural locations such as the desert.

• Rate:

  • 7.90% for the right borrower

• Recourse:

  • Non-recourse
