Capital Provider Has Raised a New $1.2B Discretionary Fund

With the New Year back in full swing we’re seeing a lot of momentum building on multiple fronts that indicate this will be a busy year. For example, a fifteen year old capital provider has raised a new fund with over $1B in commitments. Given the challenging capital raising environment of the last few years this is no small feat.

The capital is fully discretionary will be focused on several strategies including Construction Debt, Bridge Loans, Mezz/Pref equity and even LP Equity for compelling development deals. They can look at deals Nationwide and ALL Property Types. They’re even planning on deploying capital in Canada (assuming it’s not the 51st state…)

This platform started 15-years ago as a lender and has evolved into differentiated investment platform having many different buckets of money. For example, they have an agency lending platform and can provide agency loans and agency approved preferred equity on the same property, being a one-stop shop capital source for multifamily projects.
