What to Expect From Us in 2022

 

Everyone!First, I hope everyone had great holidays and took some time to relax, to reflect on the last year and to strategize how they’re going to make 2022 the best year yet.I want to say a big thank you to everyone that’s been on our email list and a part of our email group. We’re 23,000+ strong and growing every day. Everyone here is a solid finance, commercial real estate or cannabis related professional so you’re in good company. We’re really grateful that you give us the opportunity to connect and provide value to you. We get a ton of value back from this list and from all of you.2022 is gearing up to be a banner year. The capital markets are frothy and for the most part seem to have forgotten about covid. There’s so much liquidity in the system that I think we’ll look back on 2022 & 2023 as some of the best years ever to raise capital for just about anything.As we did our own reflecting over the holidays we spent a lot time thinking about how we can give more value to you.So the purpose of this email is to let you know about new things you can start to expect from us. Historically we’ve been sending out a weekly/biweekly-ish email promoting a specific capital source or financing program and talking about conferences that we’re speaking at or attending. We’ll still be showcasing unique capital sources but starting this year you’re going to see a lot more interesting things from us. Everything will be generally finance related but we’re going to share things like:

  • How we’re partnering with other select boutique advisors to join forces and expand capabilities

  • Deals and investment opportunities that we think are really interesting, we’re participating in or are a part of the GP

  • New Prop-Tech and DeFi (Decentralized Finance) applications to commercial real estate we’re working on such as real estate tokenization, implementing financial vehicles through smart contracts, & managing real estate through a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization)

  • Introducing you to complementary partners of ours. For example, we have great cannabis related corporate advisory and M&A firm that we’re working with and will be talking more about

  • Other alternative investments we’re interested in like financing space assets (satellites, constellations, space stations, etc) or thinking about how space, real estate & finance will evolve (I’m particularly excited about this one so stay tuned…)

While our core focus remains commercial real estate capital advisory, we’ll be adding a lot more value beyond that. Again, wanted to give you big thanks for being here.
