Introducing:

James Bohan, CPA, MRED is the founder and Principal of Stonehan Capital, a private investment firm providing investors with strategic opportunity zone and short-term debt investments. Additionally, Mr. Bohan serves as a trusted advisor to real estate investors and managers by providing Outsourced CFO and CPA services.Prior to Stonehan, James was the Chief Financial Officer and inaugural employee at Mosaic Real Estate Investors.  At Mosaic, James oversaw all financial matters of a private debt fund with over $700MM of originations and an investor base of hundreds of high net worth individuals and institutions. James was instrumental in building out the internal operations and policies of the emerging manager. James earned his Master’s in Real Estate Development (MRED) in 2015 from USC’s Sol Price School of Public Policy, graduating in the top 5% of his class. He earned bachelor’s degrees in both Accounting and Business Administration from USC.Between James' experience at an institutional investment manager and tax advisor, he has the perfect background to execute on opportunity zone investments. 

Tom Straw has spent the past 20+ years in the institutional capital markets working for firms such as Principal Global Investors, Goldman Sachs Asset Management and GoldenTree Asset Management. After leaving Goldman, Tom started his placement efforts in 2007 to assist independent asset management firms and entrepreneurs in their pursuit of institutional capital.Tom has also personally entitled and developed single-family residential, multi-family for sale and retail strip in Los Angeles County while advising on development projects nationwide.  Tom formed Blueprint Equity to merge his experience as a real estate operator/developer with his roots in the institutional capital markets. Tom graduated from Creighton University in 1988 and lives in Southern California.
